About Numicolor
Numicolor is the least competitive game on Vzzle and, for some people, the most useful. You choose a colour from the palette, tap every area carrying that colour's number, and a detailed image assembles itself section by section. There is nothing to lose, nothing to time and nothing to optimise. The entire appeal is the steady rhythm of it.
The library is organised into categories (landscapes and nature, animals, anime, fashion) with filters for both theme and complexity, so you can pick a piece that matches how much attention you actually have available. A simple image is a few minutes of light work; a highly detailed one is a genuinely absorbing hour.
Two alternate modes give the format a light twist. Reveal and Mystery change how much of the image you can see as you work, so instead of methodically filling in a picture you already recognise, you are gradually uncovering one. It is a small change that meaningfully alters the experience once the classic mode becomes routine.
How to play Numicolor
- Browse the gallery and filter by theme or difficulty to choose an image.
- Select a colour from the palette at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap or click every area whose number matches your selected colour.
- Zoom in to reach small or tightly packed regions accurately.
- Use the hint if you cannot find the remaining uncoloured areas for a number.
- Switch colours and repeat until the image is complete.

Tips and strategy

- Do the large background areas first. Watching big blocks of the image resolve early makes long pieces feel like they are moving.
- The hint is best used at the end of a colour, when a single stray region is all that is left and hunting for it is pure tedium rather than pleasure.
