What is a colour sorting puzzle?
You are given containers holding mixed-colour items and must rearrange them until each container holds a single colour. The restriction that creates the difficulty is that you can usually only move an item onto an empty container or onto a matching colour, so you cannot extract items from the middle of a stack directly.
Can you get stuck on a colour sorting level?
Yes, though every level starts solvable. The usual cause is filling your last empty container with a mixed stack, since empty space is what lets you rearrange anything. Restarting the level resets it to its solvable starting position.
Which sorting game should I start with?
