Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you use Vzzle. They are short, because the site is simple: there are no accounts, no payments and nothing to subscribe to.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Vzzle (https://vzzle.com) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to everyone who visits, whether you play a game, read a guide or simply browse.

2. What Vzzle provides

Vzzle is a free website that:

  • curates a small selection of browser-based puzzle games
  • publishes original written guides, reviews and strategy articles about them
  • embeds those games so they can be played directly in your browser, without downloads or accounts

Using the site is free. There is no registration, no subscription, and nothing offered for sale.

3. Third-party games

Vzzle does not develop, own or host the games featured on this site. Every game is created by an independent developer or studio and delivered through Playgama. We embed them with attribution.

This has consequences you should be aware of:

  • Games are subject to their own developers’ terms and privacy policies, not ours.
  • We do not control game content, availability, updates, in-game advertising or any in-game purchases a developer may offer.
  • A game may be modified, moved or withdrawn by its developer at any time, without notice to us or to you.
  • Progress and saved data inside a game are held by the game, not by Vzzle. We cannot restore, transfer or delete them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting infrastructure or any connected system
  • use automated systems (scrapers, bots, crawlers) in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure. Well-behaved search engine crawlers are welcome.
  • copy, republish or redistribute our written content without permission (see section 5)
  • circumvent, remove or interfere with advertising, or attempt to manipulate ad interactions
  • frame, mirror or re-embed this site or its game pages in a way that misrepresents their origin
  • introduce malware or otherwise attempt to disrupt the site for other users

5. Intellectual property

Our content. The written material on this site, game descriptions, guides, tips, FAQs, category introductions and articles: is original work created by Vzzle and is protected by copyright. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back. You may not republish substantial portions, or use our content to train systems that reproduce it, without written permission.

Game content. All games, artwork, characters, titles, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Vzzle claims no ownership of any of it, and their appearance here does not imply any endorsement of Vzzle by those owners.

Rights holders. If you own rights to material appearing on this site and want it removed, our DMCA and Copyright page sets out the process. We act on valid requests promptly.

6. Advertising

Vzzle is funded by advertising, currently through Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labelled and are kept visually separate from game controls.

We do not control the specific advertisements shown and do not endorse advertised products or services. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them. Consent for advertising cookies is handled by Google where it is required, see the Cookie Policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Vzzle available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, due to hosting problems, or because a third-party game provider is down. We may add, change or remove games and content at any time without notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Vzzle is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or its servers are free of harmful components. Our written guides are provided for general information and entertainment; see our Disclaimer for more.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vzzle and anyone involved in operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use this site or any third-party game accessed through it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

This site links to external websites, including game providers and reference sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
