How to play Mahjong Unlimited

- Every tile appears on the board four times, so plan which two of the four you clear together.
- Use a hint when the board stops offering an obvious move.
- Remove all the tiles to finish the board, then generate a new one.

Tips and strategy
- Because each tile appears four times, matching the two easiest copies is often a mistake. It can strand the other two under a stack with no way to reach them.
- On higher difficulties, clear from the top down and the outside in. Depth blocks more than width does.
- Play untimed while you are learning a layout, then switch the timer on once the shapes are familiar. Learning under time pressure mostly teaches panic.
- Try the simplified tile set even as an adult. Distinguishing bamboo counts at speed is a reading exercise, not a puzzle one, and the symbol set removes that friction.
- Take the pair that opens the most tiles, not the pair you noticed first. Counting newly freed tiles before committing is the core skill in mahjong.
